“I’m a foodie. I come from a long line of foodies. I have to enjoy what I eat. The thing I liked about this program is that they truly restrictive part of the plan was only 3 weeks. 3 weeks went by quickly. I got to eat as much as I wanted so I wasn’t hungry. And in the end, I learned how I could still be a foodie, but do it in a better way so I could be healthier. I really believe this was my last “diet”. The best thing: I have to wear a belt with all my old clothes because otherwise they’ll fall off!”

“It has been several months since I finished the plan and I feel like a whole new person. I’ve always tried to be healthy, but I got to the point where I knew I needed to make a change. My body just didn’t feel like it was working the way it should and I was tired most of the time. My focus was really on getting healthier, but I lost 13 (needed) pounds just during the 3-week Jump Start plan and I’ve since added to this total. My skin has become so vibrant that my facialist thought I’d bought a bunch of the expensive beauty products she’d suggested. I don’t feel tired all the time anymore and now I have a new relationship with food.”

“As my coach, Erica provided me with simple and achievable lifestyle recommendations that I use to this day. Her approach was refreshing to this lifetime dieter who now sees losing weight not only as possible but attainable. I learned that healthy eating is not about counting calories or quick fix tablets but about my relationship with food, its origins and how it affects my body. I’m glad I worked with Erica, She provided me with clear and accurate guidance for weight loss and a healthy lifestyle in a kind and approachable manner.”

“Erica is particularly great tailoring her suggestions to a person’s specific habits. I believe that’s why her diet suggestions work to keep weight off long term. She quickly learned that I needed easy ready-to-go foods, that I enjoyed snacking, and that peanut butter made me very happy in the mornings. She understands that the only way to sustain a lifestyle/diet change is if you still are able to eat the foods you love. Over the course of the few months we worked together, she helped me substitute things I eat frequently (like peanut butter, oatmeal, pasta sauce, salad dressing) for versions that are lower in sugar and not filled with empty calories.
Erica also realized there was a part of my initial statement that was true—I needed accountability. She routinely would check in on me to make sure I was sticking to my habits and when she heard that I might have had a rough couple of days—she was great at reminding me of my goals and getting me back on track. She went above and beyond our one week sessions—sending me suggestions and recipes in emails (even now that we’re done working together).”
