Is it just me? Or have the last 3 months been so super stressful. (Joke – of course they’ve been!) Now that cool weather has hit, quarantine life has been that much more unnerving. I miss the sunny days of sitting in a socially distanced park. And that brings me to my Soul Spring’s CBD Bath Bomb review.
It’s times like these that make you realize that the small things do matter. Like maybe I can’t get together with a group of my friends. But I can practice self-care. No pandemic can take that away.
So instead of letting myself fall into the winter blues, I’ve tried to remind myself that I have the power to lift myself up. And while I don’t have a ton of experience using CBD, I’ve been interested to learn more.
Soul Spring CBD Bath Bomb
If you haven’t heard, the COVID outbreak in Los Angeles (where I live) is insane We’re the epicenter of the outbreak in the US. And we have one of the worst outbreaks in the world.
Bottom line: when I’m walking through the supermarket, I’m rushing to get out. No need to run into more contamination than necessary.
But last Saturday, I had such a rare moment. I was in the self-care section of Lazy Acres Natural Market when I looked around – and there wasn’t a single human in sight. I had the whole section for me. And so I languished leisurely looking through the products. How 2019!
And that’s when I saw it – A CBD Bath Bomb labelled Serenity. And it hit me – that’s exactly what I need. The perfect antidote to 2021 is a big bathtub full of chill. So I bought the Soul Spring CBD Bath Bomb. But did it live up to it’s promise?
Bath Bombs Explained
If you’re not familiar with a bath bomb, let me explain. It’s a single use enhancer for your bath.
You fill the tub with water. And then you throw in your bath bomb. And it starts to fizz and fill your tub with all sorts of wonderful.
I’m not super experienced with bath bombs. But I often think to myself that I should do this more. Especially during winter when its cold, and heat becomes the ultimate relaxation.
The name is Serenity CBD Bath Bomb. Did it bring serenity?
OK, I’ll admit it. As much as I’m a hippie-like, holistic alt health kind of chick, I’m a bit questioning about CBD. Like, does it really work? Or is it all a farce and a placebo. Yes, I’m a skeptic.
But I’ll be damned – as soon as that ball started to fizz, I felt this strong wave of chill and peace. Truthfully, my bath felt like a big tub of serenity – just like the promise on the box. I’d been looking for something natural to help me feel more relaxed. And this is the best thing I’ve found so far.
I went to bed still breathing in the lingering relaxation. And so I questioned again whether this was a placebo, or if CBD is the real thing. And the reality is, I don’t care. That bath bomb made me feel so super tranquil. And I could give a crap about how I got there.
FYI – this isn’t a sponsored post or anything like that. I’m just sharing something I found that I really enjoyed. This CBD bath bomb helped me unwind and let out a deep breath. And sometimes, a calm deep breath is just the healing you need.
