I’m in the same boat as lots of you right now. I’m concerned about money. Everything is so uncertain. So this week, I’ve just gotta talk about manifestation. I know there are lots of skeptics. That used to be me. But I invite you to take a minute or two to think about the possibility of manifesting lots of money.
Manifestation used to seem a little too ‘hocus pocus’ for me. And I tend to be really left-brained and analytical in my relationship to money. But I tried it. Maybe just because I had nothing else to do.
I tried it even though it was so hard for me to believe it would make a difference. I tried it just because I needed to try something. And no – I can’t definitively prove that my focus on manifesting lots of money works, I can say however that so much money has flowed to me since I started.

My money mindset beginnings
You see, I used to have a really shitty relationship with money. I grew up with in a household that was financially comfortable. But my father would constantly panic about finances. He worried excessively about every expense and would often say things like, “this is making me broke” It seemed to my child-self like poverty was always looming somewhere near.
Here’s my first specific money memory. When I was 8 years old, my dad got pulled over for running a red light. I was little and I didn’t understand what was going on. But I quickly got the message this was bad as my dad told me about the horrors of traffic tickets.
By the time the officer came back to the car from running my dad’s license, I was hysterically crying. Like, one of those really messy cries. The officer asked me why I was crying. And I sobbed through a long speech about how I didn’t want my dad to get a ticket because we would be broke and penniless. You see, that’s what my dad had just told me would happen if we got a ticket.
My grief must have been super convincing because the officer then let my dad get off with just a warning. Hint: we wouldn’t have been ruined by a ticket. But that’s the way I learned to see money. Poverty was a constantly looming threat and there was never enough money. And I’m not saying this to blame my father. Someone taught him this lesson too.
Manifesting lots of money
But I had to change my mindset. I didn’t want these bad lessons to follow me. When I began manifesting, I just needed a little guidance and inspiration. It’s all well and good to say you want to manifest money. It’s another to understand where you should be put your focus.
So today I want to share some of my favorite books for manifesting lots of money. The proper inspiration can make such a difference. So here are some books and some people who’ve made a big difference for me.
You Are A Badass At Making Money: Master The Mindset Of Wealth by Jen Sincero
I like Jen Sincero because she comes across as so down to earth. I used to think all money manifesting gurus were light and airy and a little woo-woo. She’s so real and easy to relate to. She was seriously broke until she hit her 40s. So as someone new to the idea of manifesting lots of money, I felt safe with her.
She has this bluntness that forced me to see the weaknesses in my own thoughts and patterns of behavior. And as someone somewhat hesitant to give into the manifesting idea, she made me see what I had to lose by not trying. OK – I feel silly. But would I rather feel silly or broke?
So I dove into her journal exercises. She ends each section with exercises to focus your mind and your actions. And she has you repeat money-making mantras. And you’ll do it because she tells you to– even if you feel a little foolish.

Get Rich, Lucky Bitch by Denise Duffield-Thomas
Well, if the title gives you a clue, this book isn’t for the easily offended. I find Denise Duffield-Thomas to be funny, and not needlessly crass. She’s just a down-to-earth wife, mother, and business-woman who isn’t pretending to be a superhero. She’s just an everyday gal who figured out her money stuff.
This book has an accompanying money tracker app that is amazing. Denise created the app to use along with the book and it has been a life changer. Just be aware – I believe it is only compatible with IPhone.
The app encourages you to log every bit of money that comes your way. We’re not talking just about your salary, but all the free value that comes from the universe. And using the app has made me recognize the abundance in things I would have previously overlooked. Plus the more I’ve recognized abundance, the more money I’ve received. Like I said, totally a life-changer.
I love Denise’s book for manifesting lots of money. And I think that you will too.

Unleash Your Inner Money Babe: Uplevel Your Money Mindset and Manifest $1,000 In 21 Days by Kathryn Zenkina
I got to know about Kathryn Zenkina through her podcast. Here’s her story She was broke, penniless, and sleeping on her Grandmother’s couch when she took a leap of faith She put all her focus into manifestation. And now she has a super successful business and makes tons of money. All while being a younger Millennial.
This book is kind of like manifestation for beginners. That’s not to say that you won’t find benefit if you’ve been at this before. But this book helps you break the ice with manifestation by challenging you to manifest $1000 in 21 days.
Each day you get an exercise to help you move past your money-making issues. OK, you might feel silly at first. Day 1 has you burning sage over your wallet.
And maybe all this focus on manifesting will leave you nervous. What if you ask for $1000 and it doesn’t happen? I don’t want to find out I’m a manifestation loser. It’s unlikely you’ll ever embark on any type of self-improvement without ruffling a few personal issues.
But if you take a leap and dive in despite your ego or fears, there’s something amazing that can await. You might discover unexpected money. This is what sold me on manifesting lots of money. Even though I was scared it wouldn’t work and felt silly, I kept finding money – and a lot more than $1000.
So I manifesting $1000 in 21 days is appealing, definitely check this out.

Overcoming Underearning: A 5 Step Plan To A Richer Life by Barbara Stanny
While this book isn’t exactly about manifestation, it really tackles so much about your money mindset. For that reason, I think it’s a perfect choice for women looking to attract more cash. Because so much of manifestation has to do with mindset.
This book really gets into lessons you learned unconsciously as a child about money. And it helps you recognize how you’re turning those unconscious lessons into your adult reality. Then it guides you on how to make changes and bring in more money.
This book is full of exploratory exercises about your relationship with making money. Bonus: if you want to start a journaling practice, these exercise are a great launching pad. And I dare you to read this book and not say you have a changed perspective about why you’ve been attracting or rejecting money.
Overcoming Underearning(R): A Five-Step Plan to a Richer Life
So these are my favorite books about manifesting lots of money. Again, I went in as a skeptic and as someone who had a really shitty relationship with money. I don’t know where I would be without manifestation. So if you haven’t already, I heartily encourage you to give this a try.
