If you are brushing your legs, you will brush in an upwards direction. If you brush your stomach, you will also be brushing up towards the heart. But if you brush your shoulders, you will brush in a downwards motion because the shoulders are above the heart.

Great tips! I do several of these tasks, especially taking tumeric daily and drinking organic lemon with water. I find it works great. Everyone 6 weeks, I like to have a massage. I have been doing this for over 20 years. Though I know saunas are hard for me, I just can’t breathe in that high humid environment. People should try all of them, but know that they must listen to their own bodies. If they feel worse, they should stop. Thanks for sharing these great tasks.

You know, I used to regularly treat myself to a massage, in fact occasionally even included spa treatments at one of our luxury resorts. I am definitely long overdue. I have tried vinegar, got the “right” kind from the local health food store and it’s still sitting in the fridge because the taste of it makes me gag. I can down a spoonful of coconut oil right out of the jar, but vinegar sends me over the edge. I hate to see it go to waste, so I’ll have to try and find some different ways to use it. Thanks for the reminder on that as well. 🙂

As always, Erica, you post is filled with suggestions for detoxification that I never knew about. I do a couple of these things like using fresh herbs in cooking and in salad and exercising, but I will try to incorporate ore into my daily routine. Having been grounded with a stomach virus for a couple days this was a timely post for me.

Erica – great advice and lots I didn’t know. I drink lemon water, but now will be making sure the water is warm. I will also be adding more turmeric and apple cider vinegar to my diet. I love the photo of the salmon and salad which I would have no problem eating – I love seafood and vegetables so there you go.
